Our Programs
Our Preschool Learning Journey (Age 3–6 Years) is a three-year program, Junior KG, Senior KG and Balvatika, that is aligned with NEP 2020 & NCF–FS 2022. It is designed to give every child at Sunshine Pre School a strong academic foundation, social skills, and creativity before entering Grade 1.
Junior KG (3-4 Years)
Subjects: English, Math, EVS
English: Introduction to capital & small letters, picture recognition, phonics, vocabulary building
Math: Numbers 1–20, counting, shapes, colors, big–small, more–less
EVS: Myself, seasons, fruits & vegetables, animals & sounds, basic manners
Special: Action rhymes, storytelling, art & craft, sensory play
(No Hindi for Nursery)
Senior KG (4-5 Years)
Subjects: English, Math, Hindi, EVS
English: Capital & small letters, two-letter words, three-letter words, phonics, simple sentences, writing practice
Math: Number names 1–50 (with spelling), counting, before–after–between numbers, shapes, patterns, addition & subtraction basics
Hindi: Swar (vowels) & Vyanjan (consonants), writing practice
EVS: Traffic signals, zoo animals, animals & young ones, where animals live, festivals, seasons, plants, community helpers
Special: Rhymes, phonics, storytelling, art & craft, music & movement
Balvatika (5-6 Years)
Subjects: English, Math, Hindi, EVS
English: Cursive writing, sentence formation, reading comprehension, vocabulary building
Math: Number names 1–100, simple addition & subtraction, patterns, measurement, time, money
Hindi: Swar & Vyanjan revision, Barakhadi, simple Hindi words & sentences, writing practice
EVS: Advanced topics – water, air, healthy food, good habits, plants & animals, important places, festivals
Special: Phonics Level 2, creative writing, show & tell, project work
